Nero & Skrillex at The Phoenix 02.19.11

With little more than a month left to go, the event featuring Nero & Skrillex at  The Phoenix in downtown Toronto is now sold out. This event was expected to sell out no doubt, but the fact that it sold out this far in advance is phenomenal. Although, for the ones lucky enough, there will be 50 tickets being sold at the door, but for the raised price of $50. You snooze, you lose. I know for a fact there is an astronomical amount of die-hard fans that will be fighting to be the owner of one of those fifty tickets. The anticipation for this event continues to increase daily, so by the time it rolls around, there will be one helluva party going down inside the Phoenix. Good luck to those who weren't fortunate enough to grab a ticket yet, and I hope for your sake that you snag 1/50 tickets left!

Weekly Dosage of Bassmentality: SKRILLEX

One of the most anticipated Bassmentality events will be taking place Decemeber 1st inside Wrongbar at 1279 Queen St. W. SKRILLEX will be blessing us with brain-smashing, bass-face banging music. Formerly from an emo band called "From first to last", he is internationally known for his multi-musical talent and his fan base is extremely diverse. I find it quite amusing that Skrillex's old band named their album "My Teen Angst has a Body Count". It seems he turned this rage into a different form, with the mind-numbing breaks and accentuated sound effects put together in his current tunes. If you snoozed, you definitely might have lost your chance to see this insanely talented artist at next weeks Bassmentality because ALL online and pre-sale tickets are SOLD OUT. They will be giving away one or two tickets to skrillex at this weeks bassmentality. If not, there will be only 100 complimentary tickets at the door, so get there EARLY and you may have a chance.
